NOOS' regional data centres
NOOS has formed 4 regional data centres as a contribution for the European data exchange.
Resulting from the SEPRISE project, a number of regional data centres have been given responsibility for collating the various in situ datasets from various FTP boxes in the region. Each regional centre specialises in a particular parameter. These collated datasets are place in a single FTP box per regional centre. The institutes who are responsible for data gathering are:
